A conference room with an LED display refers to a meeting space that uses a large direct-view LED video wall as its primary presentation and collaboration tool, replacing traditional projectors or flat-panel LCD monitors. This is a major trend in modern office design.

Unlike projectors that project light onto a screen or LCDs that use backlighting, LED walls for conference rooms consist of millions of tiny light-emitting diodes (LEDs), which themselves form pixels. This technology is the same as that used in large outdoor billboards and stadium screens, but it has been miniaturized to allow for close-range viewing indoors.
